I first tested these math games in a mouse model. The results showed that these math games were both safe and efficacious. I then moved on to human trials. The human trials were mixed, as many of the participants found their fingers snapped inside of mouse traps. After I removed the mouse traps, the human trials were very encouraging.
I submitted my research for peer review, only to learn that many of my peers ride skateboards and play Frisbee golf. Many peer review returned papers had guacamole stains on them.
Yet, the results were promising enough for me to present at a statewide makers conference in Maryland. Fewer than 50 percent of the attendees walked out of my presentation.
This encouraged me to design even more games, which I'm currently testing in mouse models.
